The celebration of the National Children’s Month 2024, organized by the Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC), was marked by an orientation on business management and distribution of starter kits to child labourers, children in conflict with the law, and in need of special protection.
Held at the Camalig Command Center (CCC) in Brgy. Salugan, 6 Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL) and 4 Children in Need of Special Protection (CNSP) received household hygiene kits, while 21 child labourers received livelihood starter kits.
In his message, Camalig Mayor Hon. Carlos “Caloy” Irwin G. Baldo Jr. emphasized the importance of the activity, saying, “Ang importante, pigaturoan ang mga akus ning tama. Gibon niyong inspirasyon yading mga itataw saynyo para mas lalo kamo magpursige para sa mga pamilya niyo.”
