Over 200 esteemed guests, comprised of pastors and church leaders, participated in the launch of the ‘Better Philippines Movement’ in the Bicol region, forging partnerships between the police forces, government, religious sectors, and the community.

Mayor Carlos “Caloy” Irwin G. Baldo Jr. committed to this endeavor, as he signed the pledge of support along with various stakeholders, vowing to cultivate positive changes by facilitating social, political, and economic opportunities that benefit the people, particularly the underprivileged.

In a bid to foster public safety and security through a holistic approach, said movement further aligns with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s brand of governance and leadership, the “Bagong Pilipinas,” which reinforces unity and social transformation.

Through the Philippine National Police (PNP)’s KASIMBAYANAN (KApulisan, SIMBAhan, pamaYANAN), this initiative also seeks to bridge the gap between the government, various agencies, and the general public through deeper senses of unity, devotion, and friendship.
