The Municipal Social Welfare & Development Office (MSWDO), headed by Ms. Edlyn L. Noble, RSW, hosted the “Little Prince and Princess of Love 2024, in celebration of February as the love month, Cabangan covered court, Brgy. Cabangan.

 

Bearing the theme, “Kapakanan, Pang-unawa at Pagmamahal para sa Pag-ibig ng bawat Bata”, the event aims to further nurture the confidence and well-being of children, fostering a harmonious and supportive community for their growth and development.

 

In collaboration with Camalig Child Development Centers of Cluster 1-A which includes participating barangays of Quirangay, Gapo, Salugan, Magogon, Tumpa, and Sua, the event showcased a float parade, zumba dancing of day care children and parents, and the Search for Little Prince and Princess of Love 2024.

 

Said event also complements one of the mandates of Camalig Local Chief Executive, Hon. Carlos “Caloy” Irwin G. Baldo, Jr., specifically, to strengthen bonds within the community and mustering the involvement of families especially in child and family-centric interventions.
