The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office (MDRRMO) recently convened with Brgy. Anoling’s Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Council (BDRRMC) regarding the decampment of the remaining internally displaced persons (IDPs)/evacuees housed in Camalig Bungkaras Evacuation Center (CBEC).
Said evacuees are primarily residents of Anoling, who have been left at the evacuation center due to their homes being within the 6km permanent danger zone (PDZ) of Mayon volcano.
The decampment is scheduled to take place on December 11, at 8:00 in the morning, facilitated by the MDRRMO, Municipal Health Office (MHO), Municipal Social Welfare & Development Office (MSWDO), and other agencies.
A total of 55 families or 211 individuals are set to be decamped on Monday.
